Medical Bursaries
The New Victoria Medical Foundation aims to ensure that young people who may not otherwise be able to study in the field of medicine are given the opportunity to do so, by providing funds on a bursary basis to those with proven academic ability and the requisite drive and ambition to succeed in this demanding but rewarding area.
As well as full bursaries, the Foundation will provide Toolkit Grants for use by medical students to purchase the books, equipment and medical instruments necessary for their period of training. Toolkit Grants for students studying at Kings College, London will be gifted in partnership with The Worshipful Company of Barbers and Surgeons. However, Toolkit Grants are available to all medical students, wherever they are studying.
The Foundation is partnering The Industrial Trust in developing this area, but is able to receive applications direct from individuals.
