Kilimanjaro Challenge 2010 – Aiming to raise £100,000
Are you up for a big challenge in 2010 – the experience of a lifetime? Would you like to be part of The Foundation’s Kilimanjaro Challenge 2010 Team which will leave London on 18th September 2010 to begin an attempt to reach the summit of Africa's highest peak. In doing so the team will aim to raise £100,000 to provide medical support for those in most need.

It really stretched me but to know that you've conquered the mountain and raised funds for such a good charity makes every step (and every blister!) worthwhile. Kilimanjaro Challenge 2009 – Over £130,000 raised
On 29th September 2009, The New Victoria Medical Foundation Kilimanjaro Challenge Team of thirteen supporters left to begin an attempt to reach the summit of Africa's highest peak. Eight days later on 7th October eleven members of our team, including the Foundation’s Chief Executive Graham Ball, reached the summit and through doing so have raised over £130,000 to provide medical support to help improve the lives of those in most need.
A message from Graham Ball, 58, “As The New Victoria Medical Foundation is a relatively new charity I wanted to do something big to raise its profile and there is nothing bigger than climbing Kilimanjaro. The challenge was the experience of a lifetime and at the same time has raised a very significant amount of funds which will provide medical support to help improve many lives. I am hugely grateful to our supporters for joining me on the challenge and for their commitment and dedication not only to the challenge but to raising funds too.”
